Hi, there! I’m Dr. Johnny Gonzalez. My patients call me Dr. G.

I am the proud owner and founder of Jet Boutique Orthodontics (JBO), an Invisalign-only specialty practice located in beautiful downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In a world where orthodontics and dentistry have become rapidly commoditized and impersonal, I am passionate about delivering the highest standard of personalized patient care with empathy, transparency, and integrity.

JBO was created for people who demand trust, communication and expertise from their orthodontist specialist and team.

Every nuance of our practice has been carefully designed to optimize for this mission.

Let me explain.

For starters, I treated myself with both braces and Invisalign for a complete client perspective.

It’s one thing to know the intricacies of treatment as a trained orthodontist, but it’s an entirely different experience to have lived it as a patient.

There’s not a scenario a patient of ours can encounter that we are not fully prepared to anticipate and support.

And if being my own orthodontic patient is not enough, I am a two-time childhood cancer survivor.

The doctor-patient experiences I had during that awful time period left a profound impact on the way I approach empathetic and compassionate care for my patients.

We want to have confidence that our doctor not only has the skill to help us solve our medical or dental problems, but that they can to do it with a human touch.

That is what we stand for.

Now, let me share with you a little bit about my credentials and some fun personal facts:

I'm a proud alumnus of Florida International University for my undergraduate studies, and spent nearly a decade at Boston University for dental school and orthodontic residency.

I used to be an athlete in my younger days.

At around 4 years of age, my father gave me the nickname “Johnny The Jet” because of my speed and quickness playing basketball, football and any other sport you can think of.

The name stuck. In fact, I respond to “Jet” as naturally as my first name.

My life now revolves around my amazing fiancée, Estefanía, and our shared love for our furry, four-legged child, Twix.

Interestingly, our three names spell out the acronym of my nickname, J.E.T., which was the inspiration behind the name of our practice.
